IF you live in Halton and have been waiting for the opportunity to experience a trip of a lifetime, then Halton Haven Hospice may have answered your prayers.
The amazing organisation that offers specialist care to people across the borough have announced they are running a spectacular ‘arctic challenge’ trip to Sweden.
Tina Gill, fundraising manager at the hospice said: “If you want to take on an amazing challenge and make a difference at your local hospice join Team Haven and take on our Arctic Challenge.”
The ‘trip of a lifetime’ will consist of eight days exploring the pristine Scandinavian peninsula.
But with not a single tourist shop in sight, the excursion will be stationed in the heart of the wilderness.

“Other than your team, local guides, and reps, you will not see another human,” Tina added.
“You will be immersed in pure Arctic experiences. This really is going to be an adventure.”
Exciting experiences on the agenda will include husky driving, ice fishing, trapping, hunting, shelter and snow hole building and skiing.
Places for the trip are ‘limited’ so it is important to express your interest now.
The Halton Haven Hospice fundraising team are hosting an information event in November on the hospice grounds and are encouraging those interested to get in touch.
