THERE are 50-minute delays on the M56 in Runcorn following a multi-vehicle crash.
All traffic on M56 eastbound between junction 14, Helsby, and junction 12, Runcorn, was stopped at around 3.25pm.
It has now been released however long delays are in place and one lane remains closed.
A Cheshire Police spokeperson said: "At 3.18pm on Tuesday, August 22, police were called to reports of a collision on the M56 between junctions 12 and 14.
"The collision involved a red Vauxhall Corsa and a grey Volkswagen Golf.
"There were no reports of any injuries but lane closures were put in place while officers dealt with the incident."
