ALL lanes have reopened but long delays continue on the M56 near Runcorn after a serious collision.
Delays are ongoing between junction 14, Chester Services and junction 12, Runcorn following a fatal collision where a vehicle left the carriageway.
Approximately eight miles of congestion remain on the approach to this incident and delays are expected of up to an hour.
All lanes are now open on the #M56 in both directions between J12 (#Runcorn) and J14 (#Elton), following an earlier collision.
