ALL traffic has been released after being temporarily held on the M56 near Runcorn following a crash.
Traffic was stopped at around 4pm this afternoon, Thursday, on M56 eastbound from junction 14, Helsby, to junction 12, Runcorn.
Queues stretched back to Daresbury as a result with delays of around 40 minutes.
There were also six-mile queues.
