TWO unmissable events are upcoming at The Brindley which are sure to draw in the crowds.

The Runcorn theatre has announced two new shows which are due to take place in March.

An exciting one for football fans will see the theatre play host to Liverpool legends in conversation on March 13.

This show will see Liverpool Football Club greats relive the highs and lows of their careers, discussing what helped them to dominate football in the 80s.

Audiences will get to hear everything from the dressing room chats to what it was like to play under managers such as Bob Paisley and Joe Fagan.

It will be accompanied by a candid question and answer session to hear the very most about the team that made it to European Cup finals as well as five title winning seasons.

Back to discuss their memories of the club will be captain Phil Thompson, star goalkeeper Bruce Grobbelaar and record-breaking striker John Aldridge.

The theatre will also be welcoming an adaptation of a classic thriller in the form of The Thirty-Nine Steps – a classic tale from John Buchan.

This will be performed by Don’t Go into the Cellar Theatre Company, which is the UK’s leading practitioner of theatrical Victoriana in a macabre vein, on March 16.

The captivating thriller will see audiences follow an investigation to solve the riddle of The Black Stone and save the world.
