A Runcorn company has won a national ‘Best Workplace’ award for the high standard of happiness amongst their workers.
Drivers Direct, a logistic recruitment company, won a ‘Best Workplace’ award at the WorkL employee’s Voice Best Workplace awards.
Former in 2002, they supply more than 1,100 drivers a week to a network of 22 branches across the UK.
Danny Jellicoe, Managing Director at Drivers Direct, commented: “it’s absolutely fantastic that Drivers Direct have achieved the award for Best Work Place by WorkL. I would like to thank all of our employees who helped us get here.”
He added: “it’s great as Managing Director of the company to see that our employees feel happy and engaged when coming to work, as staff morale is one of our top priorities.”
Employees at the company undertook a “happy at work test” earlier in 2022 and achieved a 60% grade for employee engagement, giving the business a Bronze award overall.
