A DARESBURY CEO was invited to Buckingham Palace by His Majesty The King.

Last Wednesday, November 16, Liz Ashall-Payne, the founding CEO of ORCHA, attended a reception at Buckingham Palace.

The event, initiated by King Charles, recognised and celebrated the contribution of small businesses to the UK economy.

ORCHA is the Organisation for the Review of Care and Health Apps - it creates libraries of top-quality digital health products for use by the NHS and health systems in 12 countries around the world.

Liz said: “It’s not every day a Royal invitation lands on my desk and it’s an honour and a privilege to be able to meet His Majesty.”

Liz’s message was that ORCHA is one of the many specialised small businesses in the digital health sector.

She also thanked and highlighted the NHS, social care and charity clients across the UK who use ORCHA’s health app libraries every day.

Before attending the reception, Liz said: “I feel so lucky to be attending, but ORCHA’s success wouldn’t be possible without the massive creativity and dedication across the digital health sector, NHS and ORCHA too.

“I’m there to represent this amazing team.”
