It’s festival season and Creamfields North is set to return next weekend in Daresbury.

The festival will begin on Thursday, August 25 and end on Sunday August 28, 2022 and ticket holders can expect to see performances from Calvin Harris, Becky Hill and more.

The Creamfields North website details lots of important information for ticket holders. Here’s everything festival revellers need to know ahead of attending Creamfields 2022.

What do you need to bring to Creamfields?

Creamfields is a festival for over 18s only so if you’re hoping to attend, you’ll need to pack your ID.

You may need to prove your age at any point during the festival so it’s important to have a form of accepted ID with you, see which ID is accepted via the Creamfields website.

If you look younger than 21, you’ll be asked to prove your age when buying alcohol.

It’s also advised that you prepare for all weather conditions but the website says you should “make sure you don’t have too much to carry as there are no pass outs at Creamfields.”

How to pay at Creamfields

Creamfields will not be accepting cash at any of its bars or food places so you’ll need to make sure you can pay via cards with contactless and Apple Pay also being options.

Plan your travel route to and from Creamfields

The website advises ticket holders to stay updated with traffic and travel news to avoid congestion and delays.

It might seem like a simple one but it also recommends making a note of where you’ve parked your car including the letter of the car park that it’s in, making your exit route that bit easier.

The website also tells ticket holders to make sure they are “fit to drive” if that’s their way of getting home after the festival.

If you’re staying off site, the pick up and drop off for taxis is located at North Gate and Creamfields encourages you to “always use licensed cabs and approved methods of transport.”

It’s also possible for festival-goers to travel to Daresbury via plane, train, coach and shuttle bus.
