PLANNING applications to build a new retirement complex in Lymm are under consideration, according to Warrington Borough Council.
The development, if permission is granted, will see the construction of a complex that can house 64 people.
Applications include plans to construct 26 one-bed apartments, and 19 two-bed apartments.
The development is being planned by McCarthy and Stone Retirement Lifestyles, who manage 475 'retirement communities' across the country - with a total of around 20,000 residents.
Plans suggest that the development will be half a mile from the centre of the village.
According to the Financial Viability Assessment for the site, one-bed apartments will retail in the region of £280,000, while two-beds will go for £375,000.
