BIRCHWOOD Park is set to host its annual 'Duck Fest' once again.

The festival will take place this Thursday, August 4, and celebrates everything duck-related.

From raffles to barbecues and live music, this year's 'Duck Fest' looks set to have something for everyone.

The day kicks off at 10am with the family film show, which this year is Sing 2.

Following the film, there will be the main event of the day: the duck dash.

Anyone can purchase one of the ducks to take part in the dash, which will cost £5, and comes with a ticket for the raffle that'll take place later in the day.

Entries for the 'best-dressed duck' competition closed on Friday, July 29, and the winning duck will be selected on Thursday.

Any money raised on the day will be going towards the Park's chosen charity, which is the Walton Lea Partnership.

The weather is set to be clear on Thursday, which is good news for those attending 'Duck Fest' because there will be lots of stalls and games set up for everyone to take part in.

Not only that, but there will be arts and crafts on the agenda too, as well as the coconut shy, and 'whack a duck.'

The event takes place at Birchwood Park on Thursday, August 4.
