RESIDENTS whose bins are due to be emptied tomorrow, Tuesday, have been issued with an important update.
Halton Borough Council has changed collection times for refuse collectors tomorrow.
This is due to a red weather warning for extreme heat being issued for the area by the Met Office.
Bin collections will start earlier than normal, with residents told to leave bins outside the night before to ensure they are not missed.
A council spokesman said: “Expected increase in temperatures on Tuesday, July 19, will mean general waste, recycling and garden waste collections will start at the earlier time of 6am.
“Residents are advised to put their bins out the night before.
“Collections will return to normal times on Wednesday, July 20.”
