A BOY who was reported missing from his Runcorn home has been found, Cheshire Police has confirmed.

Thomas Robinson was last seen at around 5pm on Tuesday, June 28, in the Castlefields area of the town.

Although the 12-year-old lives in Runcorn, the force said that he also had a number of links to Liverpool and St Helens.

But he was located 'safe and well' after more than a week by officers in Merseyside and has now been reunited with his family.

A Cheshire Police spokesman said: "We are pleased to confirm that Thomas Robinson from Runcorn has now been located safe and well.

"The 12-year-old was located earlier this evening, Wednesday, in the Litherland area of Merseyside.

"Many thanks for all your help and support."
