AN eagerly-awaited plant fair is coming to Norton Priory this weekend.
Plant Hunters’ Fair is returning to Runcorn on Sunday, May 22.
Martin Blow from Plant Hunters Fairs said: “We are really looking forward to returning to this wonderful venue.
“There will be a brilliant line-up of specialist nurseries attending with a great mix of plants and specialities to delight plant lovers of every level of experience and these enthusiastic plants people are on hand to give straightforward advice on choosing and growing the right plants for your garden.
“Now’s the time to pick out some perfect plants to keep the colour going right through the season and where better to find them than at this great event.
“So, whether it’s bee-friendly perennials, shrubs, plants for shade, herbs, variegated or foliage plants you are sure to find something to create a blooming brilliant garden.”
A pre-purchased ticket costing £1 is required for entry to the plant fair which will be held outdoors next to the Norton Priory Georgian Walled Garden.
There will be free parking at the Museum Visitor Centre and the Norton Priory Walled Garden, woodlands and priory ruins will also be open to visit on the day.
The fair will run from 9am till 4pm and tickets are available from www.nortonpriory.org
