POLICE have charged a man following an investigation into the supply of illegal drugs in Runcorn.

It comes after detectives probed suspected drug dealing activity in the Palacefields area of the town.

Nathan Bligh, of Lambourne Road in Liverpool, was charged with acquiring criminal property, being concerned in the supply of heroin and possession with intent to supply the class A drug.

The 30-year-old appeared at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Friday, May 13, where he was further remanded to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Friday, June 10.

A 42-year-old woman from Runcorn was also arrested on suspicion of drug driving and conspiracy to supply class A drugs, namely cocaine.

She has since been released under investigation.
