POLICE are appealing for help from members of the public in the search for a convicted drug dealer.

Anthony Simpson, who has links to the Widnes area, was previously locked up after nearly £200,000 of heroin was found locked in a safe in his bedroom.

Cheshire Police are now hunting the 47-year-old, of Thatto Heath in St Helens, who is wanted over a breach of bail conditions.

He is described as being white, around 5ft6 and of a slim build with dark brown hair and blue eyes.

A force spokesman said: “Officers are appealing for help in tracing a wanted man.

“Anthony Simpson, 47, of Thatto Heath, Merseyside, is wanted for breach of bail.

“Simpson is white, around 5’6” tall, of slim build with dark brown hair and blue eyes.

“He has links to the Widnes, St Helens and Manchester areas.

“Anyone who sees Simpson or has any information regarding his whereabouts is asked to report it via the Cheshire Police website, quoting incident number IML1092420, or to call 101.

“Information can also be passed on to Crimestoppers anonymously by calling 0800 555 111 or via the Crimestoppers website.”
