A HALTON Haven employee will be spending an afternoon at the Royal Garden Party.

During the summer months, The Queen welcomes guests to spend an afternoon in the beautiful gardens of Buckingham Palace or the Palace of Holyroodhouse.

Eleanor Manson-Sawko, head of income generation at Halton Haven Hospice, has been nominated and invited in recognition of her services to charity.

Eleanor who is now head of income generation for Halton Haven Hospice, has worked for numerous charities in the North West and London for the past 11 years.

More recently, she has led charitable fundraising activities throughout the course of the pandemic delivering much needed support and funds for the hospice in the community.

The nomination came from the Lord-Lieutenant of Greater Manchester Sir Warren Smith KCVO KStJ JP.

With Eleanor’s help, Halton Haven has launched an exciting programme of events this year - including its very own royal street party which will take place on Sunday, June 5, for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Tickets are now available for everyone to attend and includes lots of treats, food, live music, and entertainment throughout the day.

Eleanor is also excited to announce that Halton Haven Hospice will be taking part in the Queen’s Green Canopy, a planting initiative created to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, whereby people are asked to plant a tree.
