GARY Barlow is to bring his acclaimed one-man show - A Different Stage - back to The Lowry later this year.

A limited run in February was a total sell-out and now the Take That favourite is to give fans another chance to hear about his life and career as A Different Stage goes on tour around the UK following an August run in the West End.

The show debuted at Runcorn's Brindley Theatre earlier this year to sell out success.

The show tells the story of Gary's life growing up in Frodsham and Runcorn.

The show will be at The Lowry from Tuesday, October 4 to Saturday, October 8.

Created by Gary and his long-time friend and collaborator Tim Firth, A Different Stage is a highly personal account of Gary’s career featuring many of the songs that have made him a household name.

Gary said: “Now I’ve done shows where it has just been me and a keyboard. I’ve done shows where I sit and talk to people. I’ve done shows where I’ve performed as part of a group. But this one, well, it’s like all of those, but none of them. When I walk out this time, it’s going to be a very different stage altogether.”
