ONE of the UK’s best-known broadcasters will be coming to Runcorn next month.
Jeremy Vine will be bringing his What the Hell is Going On show to the Brindley on Friday, April 29.
During more than 30 years at the BBC, he has presented top shows including Newsnight, Panorama, Crimewatch, Eggheads and Points of View as well as his daily Jeremy Vine Show on BBC Radio 2 – the UK's most listened-to radio news programme.
His career has seen him be shot at in Croatia and have chewing gum placed on his chair by one of Robert Mugabe’s supporters during a trip to Zimbabwe.
But his latest tour will focus on the mix of information and misinformation and the sheer volume of news headlines in today’s world.
Tickets are available at thebrindley.org.uk or by calling the box office on 0151 907 8360.
