CONTROVERSIAL comedian Roy Chubby Brown will be coming to Runcorn next month.
The funnyman will return to the Brindley for one night only on Friday, April 22.
Real name Royston Vasey, the 77-year-old recently saw a show at a council-run venue in Sheffield cancelled over his close to the bone style.
A venue spokesman said: “After 50 years in showbusiness, Roy Chubby Brown has proven himself time and time again.
“He has released 30 totally different DVDs in 30 years, thousands of live shows worldwide, four books and countless original songs.
“Millions of fans are testimony to the fact that he is Britain’s King of Comedy.
“The show is suitable for 18 years only.”
