ADDED dates have been selling out fast for Gary Barlow's one-man stage show, following on from his hit opener at The Brindley.

A Different Stage will visit Salford and Liverpool in the coming weeks.

The Frodsham-born singer-songwriter, composer and producer will take to Lowry Quays Theatre between February 22 and 27.

Tickets went on sale at 10am today, Wednesday and as it stands, the show on February 26 is the only one not to sell out.

And he will also visit Liverpool Playhouse between March 15-19, the website of which has crashed.

The project has been created by Gary and his long-time friend and collaborator Tim Firth, who was raised in Stockton Heath.

Gary said: “Now I've done shows where it has just been me and a keyboard. I've done shows where I sit and talk to people. I've done shows where I've performed as part of a group. But this one, well, it’s like all of those, but none of them. When I walk out this time, it's going to be a very different stage altogether.”
