A PROPERTY company who donated toys to Halton’s children over the Christmas period were ‘overwhelmed’ by the amount of donations they received.

The hundreds of gifts and toys collected by InHabit Northwest were distributed to a children’s centre in the borough.

The toys were wrapped up and gifted to youngsters who may not otherwise have received anything on Christmas morning.

InHabit North West manages properties across the region from purchase to letting.

This was a cause close to their hearts as they have partnerships with local charities who provide safe comfortable homes to those who need them most.

Daisy Webber, regional sales and lettings manager at InHabit North West said: “Christmas is such a joyful time of year for most of us, spending time with family in a warm house with plenty of food.

“Sadly, this isn’t the reality for all, and as Christmas is also the season of giving, there isn’t a better time to give back to local children in need.

“We asked our local community to help by donating toys, and they gave in force!

“It’s been amazing, we were overwhelmed by the generosity of everyone who supported us, and these small gestures of kindness are sure to bring a smile to a child’s face on Christmas morning.

“Thank you all so much!”

Children’s centres across the local area provide activities, safe spaces to children, and support for families across Runcorn and Widnes who may be living in poverty or are in need of help. They provide activities for all children, including inclusive activities for children with additional needs.
