A THUG who attacked six people in one day, including emergency workers, has been jailed.
Among Jasmine Turner’s victims were nurses, a support worker and police officers.
The 30-year-old’s case appeared before Warrington Magistrates’ Court in December after she pleaded guilty to assault by beating and five counts of assault by beating of an emergency worker.
The offences took place in Runcorn and Warrington and were described as ‘so serious’ because it was a ‘prolonged incident with numerous people assaulted who were just doing their job’.
They were also aggravated by Turner’s record of previous offending, ‘flagrant disregard’ for court orders and because the attacks were ‘unprovoked’ and of ‘serious nature’.
Turner, of Fearnhead Lane, Fearnhead, also committed these offences while subject to a community order, and was therefore in breach.
The community order was in place after Turner assaulted a police officer and police constable earlier in the year.
She was handed a 24-week prison sentence by the magistrates and ordered to pay compensation of £128.
