A TEENAGER who beat up a stranger with her dad in an 'unprovoked' attack has been jailed after breaching her suspended sentence.

Caitlin Driscoll, 18, was handed a two-year suspended sentence earlier this month after she pleaded guilty to ABH.

The nasty attack happened outside Cineworld on Time Square where drunken Driscoll and her dad were captured on CCTV attacking the victim – which caused nearby staff to ‘turn away’ due to the ‘degree of violence’.

The footage showed Driscoll kicking and punching the victim in the head repeatedly as well as dragging him.

She also sat on top of him attacking him and continued to go back multiple times to attack him.

Driscoll’s dad, who has since passed away, also joined in, kicking and dragging the man.

The victim had to attend A&E for a check-up and suffered swelling, bruises, a bloody nose, a bruised jaw and a black eye.

He also suffered from ‘tenderness’ and ‘uncomfortableness’.

At a previous hearing, the court heard how this was ‘out of character’ for Driscoll, of Brick Street, who according to her barrister, comes across as a ‘quiet’, ‘polite’ and ‘well-mannered’ person.

Driscoll was handed a 26-week prison sentence by the magistrates for the offence which was suspended for two years due to her ‘remorse’ and ‘realistic prospect of rehabilitation’.

But she has since failed to comply with the community requirements of the suspended sentence, which saw her back before Warrington Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

Driscoll was handed three-weeks behind bars by the magistrates.
