FATHER Christmas is already planning his magical trip to Runcorn – but he needs more elves.

Camp Project Wales, which provides holidays for disadvantaged children, has been organised Runcorn Santa for more than 20 years.

The charity is trying to visit more streets across the town this year.

A spokesman for Camp Project Wales said: “We have listened to feedback and we are trying to find a way to cover more of the town this year, particularly Murdishaw.

“However, that means adding extra nights to the rounds which will require more elves.

“Being an elf is the best of fun, they sing, they dance, they wave and they love meeting all the happy children on our rounds.”

Santa’s float visits children from Monday to Friday in December and all routes start at 6pm and finish before 9pm.
