THE Mersey Gateway will be closed for two evenings next week for essential maintenance work.
The southbound carriageway will be closed on Monday, October 18 from 8pm to 5am.
The northbound carriageway will be closed on Tuesday, October 19 from 8pm to 5am.
A diversion will be signposted via the Silver Jubliee Bridge.
A spokesman for Mersey Gateway said: “We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.”
The new crossing celebrated its fourth anniversary on Wednesday.
