A PERSON required treatment from paramedics following a crash this morning, Tuesday.
The accident, involving four cars, occurred at 9.14am on Liverpool Road in Widnes.
The fire crew from Penketh Fire Station was dispatched to the scene along with an ambulance from North West Ambulance Service.

One person was treated at the scene by paramedics while firefighters helped to clear a small amount of liquid which had spilt onto the carriageway.
The fire crew was detained at the scene for around 40 minutes.
