With a headline set by tribute band Clone Roses, the one-day music festival aimed to re-capture the sights, sounds and atmosphere of the concert.

Clone Roses frontman Gav Scott said there were no words to describe the feeling of performing in front of the crowds on Saturday, describing it as "the most amazing day".

The group shared their jubilation on a Facebook post after the festival and gave a special thanks to the St Helens public for their support to the band.

Clone Roses said: "No idea what to say! Just wow! We aren’t Rock stars, just 4 lads with normal jobs like everyone else who for the last 20+ years have been fortunate to do what we do. But that yesterday was something else.

"The weather, the other bands, the DJ’s, all staff behind the event, and of course the crowd. The atmosphere was something special. You made us feel like we were The Stone Roses, and we can’t tell you how good that feels.

"The most important thing was that it felt like normality again, people dancing and smiling and being happy, that’s what yesterday was all about!

"A special mention to the people of St Helens, you set us on our way and we will be forever grateful!

"Thank you everyone from the bottom of our hearts. Gav, Tony, Baggy & Phil. Xxxx".
