A MAN has been charged after police seized a large quantity of ‘suspected drugs’ after stopping a car on the M56.

Officers from Cheshire Police’s Roads and Crime Unit pulled over a car on the slip road at junction 12 for Runcorn and Widnes at around 12.30pm yesterday, Wednesday.

Following a search of the vehicle, they discovered a large quantity of what is believed to be the class A drug, cocaine.
