Silver Jubilee Bridge closed Widnes bound following oil spillage
THE Widnes bound carriageway of the Silver Jubilee Bridge is closed.
The closure has been confirmed by Widnes police and could be in place for a week.
It follows an oil spillage and accident earlier this afternoon on Queensway.
Traffic is being diverted via the Mersey Gateway.
Police are resuming from the road closures. They are being taken over by a traffic management unit. The new closure will be SJB Widnes bound in its entirety. Diversion via Mersey Gateway. Indication is that this may be in place for a week. Please bare this in mind
