Action: Police went to magistrates for a domestic violence protection order
A THIRTY-three-year-old Carlisle woman has been made the subject of a two week domestic violence protection order.
The order means that Joanna Helen Konkoly , of Hollyblue Drive, Carlisle, is now formally barred from contacting a named man or pestering, threatening, or harassing him in any way. Nor can she encourage any other person to any of those things.
After granting the order, which was applied for by Cumbria Constabulary, magistrates ruled that Joanna Konkily must pay the costs of the court hearing, assessed as being £533.
The defendant was represented by defence lawyer David Wales.
