FIRE crews were called to tackle a fire on a film set accommodation trailer.
Crews from Widnes, Runcorn and Penketh were called to the A553 in Widnes at 9.50pm yesterday, Thursday.
On arrival the crew found that the fire involved the trailer attached to the lorry.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the fire.
A thermal imaging camera was then used to check the area for hot spots.
The crews continued to damp down and cut away the affected areas.
There were no reports of injuries and a road closure was put in in place.
Penketh Fire Station said: "Last night Green Watch attended a fire involving a film set accommodation trailer, this was caused by over heating brakes that spread to the body of the trailer unit. Crews wore breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire."
