NO FURTHER action is to be taken against a man who was arrested on suspicion of assault, burglary and criminal damage after police attended an address.
Officers were called to an address on Princess Avenue, Windlehurst on the afternoon of Thursday, March 25 shortly before 2pm to a report of a concern for safety.
Police arrested a 29-year-old man who was taken into custody.

After the arrest, a Merseyside Police spokesman had said: "We can confirm that a man was arrested following a domestic incident in St Helens yesterday, Thursday, March 26.
"At around 1.50pm, officers were called to an address in Princess Avenue to reports of a concern for safety.
"A 29-year-man from St Helens was detained and has been arrested on suspicion of burglary; criminal damage; and common assault."
Merseyside Police have confirmed that the man has been released with no further action to be taken.
