RATHER than remain in Super League, Jason Clark says he will return home to Australia if his Warrington Wolves contract is not renewed for 2022.

The forward is one of 14 players on the club’s books currently due to be off-contract at the end of the current season, with incoming head coach Daryl Powell in the midst of assessing his options.

Clark is currently in his third season as a Wire player having joined from South Sydney Rabbitohs ahead of the 2019 season.

Should this one prove to be his last, however, he does not see himself playing for any other Super League club nor does he envisage an NRL return.

“Warrington’s home at the moment but I’m off contract at the end of the year,” he said.

“If I’m not with Warrington, I’ll be going back to Australia and working there but I don’t think I’ll be playing in the NRL again.

“I could be working behind the scenes at Souths or down at the docks with my Dad!”
