THE A56 in Daresbury has been blocked today, Sunday, due to a burst water mains.
Photographs show the extent of the water - near the usual Creamfields Festival site on Chester Road - which has affected farmland in the area.

Chester Road, between Holly Head Lane and Daresbury Laboratory remains closed, although the water has since been cut off.
