A LEARNER driver who escaped from police in North Wales was caught on the M56 in Cheshire.
North West Motorway Police joined forces with colleagues across the region to apprehend the motorist.
The driver was arrested after providing a positive roadside drugs wipe for cannabis.
A police check also revealed that the driver only held a provisional licence.
A spokesman for North West Motorway Police said: "Superb bit of team work between ourselves, Cheshire Comms, #BA7 and North Wales Police."
The driver was stopped at junction 11 at Daresbury on the M56 late last night.
