THE Range is getting ready to open its Widnes store on Friday and residents are excited to welcome the new addition.
Located on the site of the old B&Q at Widnes Waterfront, the store will replace the one in Runcorn Shopping Centre, which is set to close.
Staff will be transferring to the new location, but 34 new roles have also been created.

He said the site was looking 'amazing' after its refurbishment.

In line with current Government guidelines, the new store will have extra safety procedures in place to protect both staff and customers when it opens.
These include social distancing floor markers, sanitising stations at the store entrance and contactless payments where possible.
