A SUSPECTED burglar has been charged after a break-in at a bakery in Runcorn.
The Poundbakery on Church Street was targeted during a burglary in February last year.
Cash was stolen from a safe inside the premises after the bakery was broken into via the roof overnight.
Michael Farrer, of Bury, has since been charged with burglary in connection with the incident.
The 35-year-old appeared at Chester Magistrates Court on Tuesday, January 12, in order face this charge and has been released on unconditional bail ahead of a further appearance at Chester Crown Court next month.
