WARRINGTON'S new craft brewery will be introducing itself to the town's beer lovers with a triple can launch on Friday, December 18, just in time for the festivities.

It gets better because you can also grab a pizza to go to start the last weekend before Christmas in style.

Twisted Wheel Brew Co has been busy moving from Wigan to Europa Boulevard since October.

Now the family business is settled in, they have planned an event to coincide with their next can launch where visitors can pop into their Easter Court site for takeaway pizza and beer.

The new craft beers include black IPA Clouds Across the Moon black, Citra-hopped New England IPA Space Hopper and triple IPA Friday On My Mind.

They have been made by head brewer Anthony Barrett, who helped spearhead the development of Hebden Bridge-based Vocation Brewery's core range when it launched in 2015.

Laura Dearman, company director, said: “It’s been a busy couple of months as we’ve been moving the brewery from Wigan to Warrington.

"Our first beer launch in November went really well and the beers have received some excellent feedback. We’re really excited to be launching another three beers just in time for Christmas.

"They will be available from the brewery shop on December 18 along with growler fills, mini-kegs and guest beers from other north west breweries."

Twisted Wheel are working with wood-fired pizza specialist The Dough Boy for the after hours event from 4pm to 7pm on Friday, December 18.

Laura added: "We will provide the menu and details of how to pre-order pizzas with The Dough Boy closer to the date.

"You will be able to choose a time-slot to collect and pick up our new beers at the same time. Pre-orders for beers will go live earlier that week for local pickups.

The event is takeaway only but the brewery is hoping to introduce taproom experiences in the future.
