WARRINGTON Hospital has recorded one more coronavirus-related death in the past 24 hours.
This brings the total number of deaths at the site since the start of the pandemic to 253.
The Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is currently treating 147 people for the virus – including 14 who are in intensive care.
A total of 837 inpatients have been discharged after receiving care so far.
Meanwhile, the trust has carried out 40,031 tests to date, 2,812 of which returned a positive result.
As of today, Friday, Warrington has the 139th highest rate of positive cases, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.
In the seven days leading up to November 22, 393 new cases were confirmed – 187.1 for every 100,000 residents.
By comparison, in the same period leading up to November 15 there were 557 positive tests – 265.2 per 100,000.
