TWO men were arrested in the early hours of today after reports of car doors being tried.
Two men, aged 29 and 30, were arrested in the early hours of today, Tuesday, November 24, following a report of car doors being tried on Gooch Drive, Newton-le-Willows.
The suspects were taken into custody.

Police have issued a warning to residents not to leave valuables on display in their vehicles.
In a statement, St Helens Police said: "As the festive period approaches we would like to remind the people of St Helens not to leave valuable items on display in their vehicles.
"Also, our seasonal frosty weather unfortunately attracts drivers to leave their vehicles running whilst not present.
"Don't give thieves an early Christmas present.
"Don't be tempted to leave your vehicle running unattended."
