WITTON Albion Wanderers under 14s have gone from strength to strength this season.
Before the Covid-19 pandemic hit in March, they had won their league cup final and despite setbacks, they kept their fitness up through lockdown.
When the grassroots game resumes again, they will be top of the table having picked up from where they left off.
They are being supported through the winter months by Big Bobble Hats, with matching “Papa Smurf” hats to keep them warm before and after matches and training sessions.
