HARVEY Livett appears to be facing a career crossroads.

The homegrown Warrington Wolves academy graduate spent the 2020 season on loan at Hull Kingston Rovers having enjoyed a brief but successful temporary spell at Craven Park last year.

However, it has been confirmed that the Robins will not be pursuing a permanent deal for the 23-year-old second rower after he made nine appearances for them this season, scoring two tries.

Livett is also now out of contract with The Wire and while the club have an option in their favour to extend it for next year, it is currently unclear whether or not they will activate it.

An accomplished goalkicker that can play in the halves and centres as well as the back row, his versatility will be an asset to whichever squad he finds himself in for 2021.

Steve Price's first year as head coach in 2018 saw Livett enjoy somewhat of a breakthrough year as he scored 10 tries in 22 appearances, including a hat-trick in a memorable 33-22 win at Leeds Rhinos.

However, a loss of form and the return to fitness of Ben Currie saw him play just 10 times in 2019 before joining Rovers on loan.

Overall, Livett has made 46 appearances for The Wire since making his first-team debut in 2017, scoring 17 tries and kicking 39 goals.
