HALTON has the 115th highest coronavirus rate of any local authority area in the country at present.
Data from Public Health England on the rolling seven-day rate of positive Covid-19 tests showed 330 new cases in the borough for the period leading up to November 9.
This represents 255 cases per 100,000 residents.
The figures are based on tests carried out in laboratories and in the wider community.
By comparison, in the seven days leading up to November 2 there were 360 new cases, representing 278.2 cases per 100,000 residents.
Hull has the highest rate in England, with 1,931 new cases recorded in the seven days to November 9 - the equivalent of 743.3 cases per 100,000 people.
This is up from 545.1 cases per 100,000 in the seven days to November 2.
Blackburn with Darwen has the second highest rate, followed by Oldham.
The data from Public Health England for the most recent three days, November 10-13, has been excluded as it is incomplete and does not reflect the true number of cases.
