AN individual has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
The incident relates to an accident which happened on Halton Brook Avenue in Runcorn at around 11.40pm in October last year.
On Saturday, October 5, 2019, a 62-year-old man was left with serious injuries after being involved in a collision near the Riverside Housing Association building.
He was taken to hospital and was described as being in a ‘critical but stable’ condition by police in their appeal for information two days later.
But the male, named as Patrick Moore, sadly passed away on March 11 this year.
Gemma Clout, of Folly Farm Close in Bewsey, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, drink driving and drug driving.
The 32-year-old appeared before Warrington Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, with the case listed for trial at Chester Crown Court next month.
