Tom Ellard
FORMER St Bede's school headmaster Tom Ellard has passed away, he was 87.
Tom, who hailed from St Helens, was also a former board member and chairman of St Helens rugby league club from the 1980s through to 2004.
A popular man, with a huge affection for the 13-man code, Tom was supporting the club from the terraces long before he stepped up into the boardroom.
