POWER was lost in some homes in Whitley this morning due to a low lying overhead line.
Scottish Power Energy Networks said supplies had been removed at properties at around 7.50am this morning (Saturday).
Engineers were sent to resolve the issue.

A statement said: "Some supplies have been removed in WA4 CW9 CW8, Warrington and Northwich from 7.50am due to a low lying overhead line.
"Engineers are now making their way. Sorry for any inconvenience."
SP Energy Networks said that power has since been restored.
