A WANTED man has been arrested by police investigating a large fight where shots were fired. Police have been hunting for James Price since August after the incident on Factory Lane in Widnes.
While a firearm was believed to have been discharged during the incident, there have been no reports of any injuries.
He had links to Warrington and Widnes and was arrested by police on Monday.
The 23-year-old has since been charged with violent disorder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
Price, of Baguley Avenue, Widnes, has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Warrington Magistrates’ Court today, Tuesday.
The three other defendants in the case, Luke Price, 53, of Southworth Road, Newton-le-Willows; Rueben Price Snr, 47, of Factory Lane, Widnes; and Rueben Price Jnr, 26, of Regent Street, Newton-le-Willows, appeared at Warrington Magistrates' Court on August 6.
They were remanded in custody and are set to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Wednesday, September 30.
