POLICE were called to a crash on the M56 at Lymm.
Officers and Highways England attended the scene of a one-vehicle collision near to junction nine this afternoon (Saturday, August 8).
Lane three was blocked due to the collision.
The crash happened shortly before 2.30pm.

At 3.25pm North West Motorway Police said the area has now been cleared and said no injuries were sustained in the collision.

A traffic feed said: "All lanes re-opened, accident cleared on M56 Westbound from Junction nine M6 Junction 20 (Lymm Interchange) to Junction 10 A49 Tarporley Road (Stretton).
"Lane three (of three) was blocked."
