OUTDOOR theatre is coming to town next month, as a West End stage manager returns home with special two man show and jazz theatre special to cheer up residents in lockdown.
During lockdown, we have all been stuck in our homes, unable to access what we took for granted before, and one of those things is the arts.
There has been no visits to the theatre for any of us, but as restrictions ease, a former West End stage manager is bringing his show to Inglenook Farm on August 30 offering a special outdoor, socially distanced performance.

Tom Platt, who grew up in Thatto Heath, moved to London to pursue his career in the West End.
Well after becoming a stage manager, he's now reconnected with his love of acting and is joining his friend Matthew Cavendish to put on a two man social distanced outdoor cabaret theatre show in Rainford.
The show, Cheap and Cheerful, sees the pair whirl through non-stop gags, routines and showbiz tunes along with their live travelling band.
Tom 27, said: "It's Tommy Cooper meets Bruce Forsyth and it's just about bringing people together - safely - to enjoy theatre in the outdoors.
"It's like a homage to Vaudeville and Variety and is an outdoor only event where people can pay for their spot which will be 2 metre distanced from everyone else and they can bring their own picnic and enjoy the show.
"There is no reason us in the North can't access the arts and theatre,it has to look a bit different for now but we are excited to bring this show to my home town."
