CHESHIRE Oaks has announced that its opening hours will be extended from July 13 after being "overwhelmed" with the positive reaction from shoppers since it reopened last month.

The designer outlet was forced to close back in March following the coronavirus outbreak, but began operating again on June 15 after the Government relaxed lockdown restrictions.

Reduced opening hours, new health and safety measures, and capacity limits were all implemented and owners McArthur Glen say they have been well received by visitors, with the centre reporting growth week on week.

Many of its food and drink partners have also now reopened with restaurants including Yo! Sushi and Pizza Express now offering a dine-in service.

From Monday, July 13, Cheshire Oaks will be extending its opening hours to:

  • Monday to Friday, 10am-8pm
  • Saturday, 9am-8pm
  • Sunday, 10am-6pm (larger stores 11am-5pm)

Kenny Murray, general manager at Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet, said: "Since reopening, we've been overwhelmed with the positive feedback from our guests and are thrilled that the health and safety measures we've taken have been well received.

"It has been great to see that there is still a focus on health and wellbeing post-lockdown, with activewear and homeware brands proving most popular.

"We're proud to offer the very best brands in a beautiful outdoor setting and look forward to welcoming many more guests over the coming weeks."

Cheshire Oaks says it has regularly liaised with Cheshire West and Chester Council and Cheshire Police to review its operations in order to ensure the safety and welfare of its customers, brand partners and employees.
